CHIPS144500 ADC module represents alternative to the CHIPS142500 module with the doubled number of the receive channels. The channels are pairwise connected with the two-channel ADC ICs. The module can be efficiently used to digitize the quadrature signals of the intermediate frequency radio-receiving paths. The ADC module transmits the samples to the base board FPGA for processing according to the stated algorithm. The ADC module timing is carried out with the help of the integrated reference crystal oscillator providing ADC module sampling frequency up to 500 MHz.

The timing and the clock synchronization signal can be also received from the external source facilitating integration of the module into the data processing system. Programmable clock signal distributor makes it possible to adjust the clock signals shift of the channels. The module is fitted with the integrated status monitoring system (crystal temperature, voltage) accessible by the I2C interface.
